Neurodivergent
What is that? Just another label? I know someone, a professional in her 40s who, as a product of a woke university, is big on what I think of as trendy conditions. She has recently changed her LinkedIn profile to read 'Happily neurodivergent'. I'm can't say I'd ever noticed.

This means the person has different strengths and struggles from people whose brains develop or work more typically. While some people who are neurodivergent have medical conditions, it also happens to people where a medical condition or diagnosis hasn’t been identified. I think nonmedicl term gives the game aeay.

I'm neurodivergent (as I'm on the autism spectrum), as are many of my friends (who either are also on the autism spectrum or who have ADHD).
When I was teaching maths, I encountered many students with dyscalculia or ADHD. However most of those that I'm still in touch with seem to be those who, like me, have high-functioning autism.
