Have you seen any? I read;

In small ads section, Wooden animal hutch for sale, would suit guinea pigs or small rabbi.

Oy vey!

Not a typo but I always chuckle at the small ad listing chester draws for sale.

I can't remember ever hearing 'chest of drawers' in fairness and I'm sure I say chester drawers, or possibly chestuv drawers.

Khandro, your ad is also badly worded. Unless, of course, the hutch really is just for wooden animals? 😊

ken; Like the wooden fruit bowl ?

and the fresh air strikes the Israelis were imposing on Iran. I thought fresh air was good for us.

Seen in a deli; Please use tongue to grab the cakes.

There was a report in a newspaper about ' A defective in the local police force'. The following week it issued an apology. The last line read ' He is of course a detective in the local police farce'.

That's got to be a joke, Vulcan

As an aside and regarding things badly worded . When the yellow card was first issued to troops in Ulster, it stated that a soldier must shout halt 3 times before opening fire.

The story has it that a member of the paras took the instruction literally, shouting "Halt" 3 times before opening fire.

It may be an urban myth, but the wording on the yellow card was altered seberal times up to late '72.

barry, it might well have been a joke but when I first read it, it was quoted as coming from the Guardian, the newspaper renowned for its typo's, so much so it is often referred to as the Grauniad.

That explains it, Khandro.
