There is nothing wrong with being asspirational. If someone asked me if I wanted to be a Dame I would Probably also say "of course I'd love it to be made a Dame"

I see that Elaine Paige is going to be made a Dame, probably partially to do with her charity work, But also because of " services to music". Who knew the music needed servicing!

Maybe Gemma Collins also does charity work and in the end services to reality TV isn't much different than services to music

People put themselves forward for all kinds of things in many fields.

A couple come to mind on here even, fairly recently a regular was looking for a bump to middle or senior management with a view to problem solving on both micro and macro levels.

I don't think it came to anything but the wheels may even yet be in motion behind the scenes.
