Has anyone spotted any? I think it's harder than ever to identify them these days.

Every article, every day, seems to be a 'fool'.  I did wonder about the 'no trade deal without free speech' article though.

I think the opposite actually - they are so easily spotted people don't bother making them up any more.

Spotting April Fools isn't a news topic.

Just watch out for those from 'Lirpa Loof'...'Flora Pilo'...etc.

No, but spotting April Fools IN THE NEWS is.

The clue's in the question.

Douglas, none of them look anything like The Beatles!  Think it's true though.  Won't be queueing for that one.

Thought it might be the news about Virginia Guiffre...  something very fishy with that article if it is true.  We will find out by the weekend ...

Possibly. Was reading an article where a fisherman on a remote Irish island found a whistling snake in the water. Native of Africa, I think, they thought it might have hitched a lift on a migrating bird. Does anyone know whether they pick someone who is unpopular, paint them green, chase after them and throw them in the sea on St Patrick's Day - same article.

It isn't.

ChatterBank stuff at best.

Article is in the BBC Wildlife magazine.

Here's some -

Abbey Road Studios announcing that the iconic level crossing was being removed, Subway advising that favourite sandwiches would be available in liquid form, Ant and Dec announcing their new decking firm, Frankie Bridge announcing a range of false nipples based on her own, and Radio One playing a recording of Scott Mills' Breakfast Show from the previous day.

I also heard Vernon Kay on R2 this morning announce the day as Wednesday 2nd of April, leading me to think for one second that either he'd made a mistake or I'd missed a whole day somehow.
He also mentioned spaghetti farms, but that was done years ago.

Not sure where I saw it (somewhere in a Facebook Group) with a picture of a rare pink seal off the Norfolk coast.
