Starmer intially said, quite shamefully in my opinion, that those campaigning for a national inquiry were jumping on the far-right bandwagon, but has now been forced into a U-turn. However, it is he who will decide who leads the inquiry, its terms of reference and, hence, how long it will take to report. Each and every one of those people involved in covering this up must be brought to book but I've a sneaking suspicion that this one will run on and on. Shame on them all.

They were looking into the murder of Bulic Forsythe who was bludgeoned to death. He worked for Lambeth Council and was apparently ready to blow the whistle on an alleged paedophile ring operating on council premises. A chilling story unfolded about systematic abuse in children's hostels etc. Some victims are still afraid to speak out as they have been threatened. Worth a watch if you can stomach it and shame on those who are still trying to cover it up.
